Four Kentucky basketball signees have been named to the 2023 McDonald’s All-American Game.

DJ Wagner, Aaron Bradshaw, Justin Edwards and Reed Sheppard have been invited to the prestigious event, scheduled to take place on March 28 in Houston.

Rob Dillingham is the lone Kentucky signee left off the roster, with the McDAAG selection committee declaring him ineligible for participation, sources tell KSR. Overtime Elite nominated the future Wildcat, but the request was denied due to the school not meeting the event’s criteria for eligibility.

Wagner, Bradshaw and Edwards will team up on the East team, while Sheppard will be on the West.

Kentucky leads all schools with the most participants (4), followed by Duke with three and Oregon and Michigan State with two. 11 other schools have one selection, with the G-League Ignite also having one. Bronny James is the lone uncommitted player on the list.

The McDonald’s All-American Games Selection Committee – comprised of some of the nation’s most knowledgeable high school analysts, prep scouts, media and basketball coaches – narrowed down the list of 722 boys and girls nominees to 48 total — 24 each.
