We are getting closer and closer to Kentucky Basketball‘s non-conference schedule, Big Blue Nation. Yesterday, the CBS Sports Classic revealed its matchups in Atlanta, Georgia, where Kentucky will play North Carolina at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, in the annual doubleheader event.

Tuesday also taught us that the Wildcats will host Marshall in Rupp Arena in the non-conference, and today, Marshall confirmed the report with a release of its entire non-conference basketball schedule. That game will be played in Lexington on Friday, November 24, the day between Thanksgiving and the Governor’s Cup.

Kentucky’s games versus Notre Dame and Michigan are officially canceled

Kentucky was supposed to play Notre Dame this upcoming season to complete the three-game agreement in 2020. The ‘Cats and Fighting Irish were originally scheduled to play last season, but the game was postponed until 2023-24.

Now, Notre Dame’s schedule release shows the series will not be completed–at least not this year.

The Michigan series is also done. Earlier in the summer, Michigan released its entire non-conference schedule without Kentucky on it, signaling an end to the prior commitment to play a home-and-home following last year’s game in London.
