Before Andru Phillips heads off to the NFL Draft, he’ll first make a pit stop in Mobile, AL.

On Tuesday, it was announced that the Kentucky football defensive back has accepted an invitation to participate in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

The annual Senior Bowl is set for February 3, 2024, and will be broadcast on the NFL Network at 1:00 p.m. EST. It is viewed as the first stage in the NFL Draft process and the biggest college football All-Star Game in the country. Upwards of 900 personnel from all 32 NFL teams will be in attendance for the event.

Phillips, a redshirt junior, arrived at Kentucky as a three-star recruit from the 2020 class. He was made a full-time starter this season at outside cornerback, recording 44 tackles and four pass breakups in 11 games. The Mauldin, SC native announced on Nov. 30 that he plans to enter the 2024 NFL Draft, which will run from April 25-27 in Detroit, MI.

The former legacy recruit will leave Lexington with 79 tackles and nine pass breakups during his college career. Phillips will look to become the latest Kentucky defensive back to be drafted after the Green Bay Packers spent a 7th-round pick on Carrington Valentine during the 2023 NFL Draft.
