Kentucky Basketball’s loss at Auburn shouldn’t have major implications on Kentucky’s NCAA Tournament standing on Selection Sunday, but it did impact Kentucky’s place in the projections.

Because it’s a Tuesday, Joe Lunardi updated his Bracketology and the Wildcats fell in ESPN’s new NCAA Tournament forecast. Now a No. 4 seed, Kentucky is projected to play Vermont and the Xavier/Murray State winner in Pittsburgh’s first two rounds of the East Regional (Philadephia). Kentucky was on the 3-seed line in last week’s Bracketology.

Should Kentucky reach Philadelphia in this fake tournament bracket that doesn’t matter whatsoever, Arizona, Kansas, and Michigan are the three higher seeds in the East, in that order.

See for yourself in Lunardi’s latest look into the future.
