Between Kobe and head coach Byron Scott, Julius Randle has some pretty solid leaders in Los Angeles mentoring him in the early stages of his young career. It's a support group many rookies would like to have, and Kobe can't imagine Randle having a bad first year with that kind of guidance. Last night, when asked about mentoring his rookie teammate, Kobe said,
"It means he can't f*** it up. If you f**** this up, you're a really big idiot."
Randle said, "I'm in the perfect situation, I can't mess it up."
It's kind of bizarre to hear Randle say "Kobe, Booze and Nash" when talking about his teammates. Seems like yesterday he was playing video games with Jon Hood and Dominique Hawkins and beating Louisville twice.
