Moments before the Monday conversation with Stoops, Kentucky will release its Week 4 depth chart to the public to reveal the two-deep at each position as the team begins prep for Northern Illinois. One spot to watch is at Jack linebacker where expectations are JJ Weaver will miss significant time after suffering a gruesome arm injury in the first half of Saturday’s game. The new depth chart will reveal how Brad White’s defense plans to replace one of the most talented players on the entire team.

Kentucky is laying 24.5 to the Huskies

According to VegasInsider.com, Kentucky opened as a 24.5-point favorite when the betting lines were released for next Saturday’s slate of college football games; although, the line already moved a full point to the ‘Cats laying 25.5 points at some of the legal operations available to Kentuckians who cross the river into our neighboring states. For over/under bettors, oddsmakers set the total on the game at 53 points.

Kentucky is 3-0 ATS this season and the under has hit in all three games because Kentucky’s defense is awesome.

At some point today, the SEC will announce its kickoff times for Week 5, including the start time for Kentucky’s trip to Oxford to play No. 16 Ole Miss in 12 days. We’ve waited 12 years for another trip to the Grove, so please, please, please, please, don’t give us a noon kickoff.

Please. I’m begging you, football gods. Give us time to tailgate at the best tailgate spot in college football. Please. I’ve been dreaming about next Saturday for over a decade.
