These videos never get old…
On Tuesday, the talented folks over at UK Sports Video released another edition of The Journey series, which recaps all of the Wildcats’ biggest victories, this time highlighting Kentucky’s 70-59 road win against Auburn over the weekend.
And as always, it was perfect.
John Calipari sets the stage as we listen in on his pregame speech to his players (a much more relatable one than whatever Bruce Pearl thought he was doing). As you might have guessed, he likes his team. We then jump into the first-half highlights and even get a peak at what was said during a timeout before Calipari’s quick halftime debriefing. The rest of the video is filled with second-half highlights and features assistant coach John Welch receiving the ceremonial “Gatorade bath” in the postgame locker room celebration.
It’s just the energy you need to gear up for Kentucky-LSU on Wednesday night in Baton Rouge.
