LSU RB Logan Diggs has entered NCAA transfer portal

LSU’s starting running back Logan Diggs has entered the transfer portal. Diggs ended the 2023 season with 653 yards and seven touchdowns on 119 carries in 10 games, making him the Tigers’ most utilized back alongside Jayden Daniels.
Diggs transferred to LSU after two years at Notre Dame where he posted an 800 yard rushing season and after a strong third collegiate season, Diggs entered the portal instead of declaring for the NFL Draft.
“It meant a lot to me,” Diggs said back in October about playing for LSU. “It was bittersweet when I ran out the tunnel. I was like wow I grew up watching all this and now I’m here and I reminisced about where I came from to where I am now. It was really eye opening for me. It’s something I dreamed about my whole life.”
For his career, Diggs has 1,703 rushing yards and 14 scores on the ground on 336 carries as well as 24 catches for 349 yards and three more touchdowns.
LSU’s running back room now consists of returners Josh Williams, Kaleb Jackson, Trey Holly, and incoming freshman Caden Durham. Frank Wilson has the talent, but after a year where LSU had eight scholarship running backs, he’s down to four in early January for next season.

Track transfer portal activity
As of January 5th, 2,202 FBS players have entered the Transfer Portal.
While the NCAA Transfer Portal database is private, the On3 Network has streamlined the reporting process tracking player movement. If you find yourself asking, ‘How can I track transfer portal activity?’ our well-established network of reporters and contacts across college athletics keeps you up to speed in several ways, from articles written about players as they enter and exit the transfer portal or find their new destination, to our social media channels, to the On3 Transfer Portal.
The transfer portal wire provides a real-time feed of player activity, including basic player profile information, transfer portal ranking and original On3 Industry recruiting ranking, as well as NIL valuation (name, image and likeness).
The On3 Transfer Portal Rankings allow for you to filter the On3 Industry Rankings to find the best of the best in the portal, starting with Overall Top Players.
You can dive deeper into the rankings and filter by position whether it is Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver, Tight End, Offensive Tackle, Interior Offensive Line, Edge, Defensive Line, Linebacker, Cornerback, Safety, Athlete, Kicker, Punter, or Long Snapper you’re looking for.
