LSU with two of Top 5 On3 NIL 100 Valuations

When it comes to NIL in college sports, a pair of LSU women are among the biggest names on the forefront of the new era for student-athletes.
On Tuesday’s updated On3 NIL Top 100, LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese moved up to No. 5 – giving the Tigers a pair of names inside the Top 5 of the On3 NIL Valuations.
Reese’s valuation climbed this week by $249,000. She now has an On3 NIL Valuation of $1.6 million – a valuation that increased by more than 27% over the past 10 weeks, per On3’s Jeremy Crabtree.
LSU’s Reese, Dunne the lone women in the Top 5
LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne has been at the forefront of the NIL discussion since its’ inception into college athletics, and she’s carrying a $3.4 million On3 NIL Valuation – second to only Southern Cal signee Bronny James, the son of NBA star LeBron James.
Now, Reese has moved up the list to join Dunne in the Top 5.
Reese’s $1.6 million valuation ranks fifth behind James ($6.8 million), Dunne ($3.4 million), Texas quarterback Arch Manning ($2.8 million) and Southern Cal quarterback Caleb Williams ($2.6 million).
“Since Reese played an instrumental role in leading LSU to the national championship in early April, she’s signed significant NIL deals with Intuit TurboTax, Raising Cane’s, Caktus AI, Campus Ink, SI Swimsuit, Mielle Organics and Starry,” Crabtree said. “She also broke the Internet when she revealed an endorsement deal with Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge that developed with the help of the Bayou Collective.
“Those deals – combined with previous partnerships with Bose, Coach and Sonic – cement Reese’s stock as one of the biggest NIL winners in all college sports. Plus, thanks to help from her agent, Jeanine Ogbonnaya, Reese is a name that resonates outside of college sports fandom.

“She is one of just 25 athletes to have a valuation in the seven figures. The rise in her profile is a mix of the LSU star’s persona and established brand. The first-team All-American is not going anywhere, either. She has at least one more season at LSU until the WNBA draft, which means the NIL options remain endless for Reese.”
About the On3 NIL Valuation
The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV).
A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation establishes the overall NIL market and projected 12-month growth rate by measuring two categories, Brand Value Index and Roster Value Index.
About On3 NIL Valuation, Brand Value, Roster Value
While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.
