The Wolverine’s EJ Holland and Zach Libby discussed several Michigan recruiting topics on the Tuesday edition of The Wolverine Live recruiting show, including the recruitment of Top 100 Springfield (Ohio) High cornerback Aaron Scott.

Watch and listen to Holland and Libby share the latest on U-M recruiting below.

Scott made an official visit to Michigan last month and is now set to announce his commitment on July 30.

Right now, Ohio State has a 95.9 percent lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. However, Michigan has been building up steam over the last couple of months, and Holland still believes this is a tight race between the two rivals.

“I still think Michigan is in it right now,” Holland said. “I have not put in a prediction in favor of the Wolverines or anything like that. I think Ohio State is the safe pick. If I had to pick a school today, it would probably be Ohio State because it is the safest pick. But I definitely think Michigan is still in this race. And I don’t think Aaron has informed staffs of his decision.”

At 5-foot-11, 165 pounds, Scott is ranked as the No. 4 cornerback and No. 29 overall prospect nationally, per On3.

Michigan has 26 commits in its 2024 recruiting class. Of the names in the group are Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis, Top 100 Rochester (Mich.)
