NC State football has landed in the final Associated Press Top 25 poll, checking in at No. 20.

It also came in at No. 19 in the Coaches Poll that was released Tuesday afternoon.

The last time that the Wolfpack finished in the top 25 was in 2017 when NC State was No. 23 in both the AP and Coaches polls, and it is the Pack’s highest final rating since the Gator Bowl 2002 team that won a school-record 11 games, and finished at No. 12 in the AP Poll and 11 in Coaches Poll.

NC State, which had its Holiday Bowl game canceled after going 9-3 overall and 6-2 in the ACC , dropped two spots from its ranking in the final AP Poll of the regular season and one in the Coaches.

The Pack was the fourth highest ACC team in the polls , following league champ Pittsburgh (13 in both), Clemson (14 in AP and 16 in Coaches) and Wake Forest (15 in AP and 14 in Coaches).

Here is the final AP poll after Georgia defeated Alabama Monday evening to win its first national title since 1980.
