Elkhorn North edge linebacker Jase Reynolds commits to Nebraska

Jase Reynolds is staying home. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound edge linebacker from Elkhorn North (Neb.) has committed to the class of 2026 for Nebraska. The Huskers extended an offer to Reynolds following a Friday Night Lights camp last year in Lincoln.
“I enjoyed talking to coach Rhule and coach Dvoracek during the camp,” Reynolds said. “They pulled me aside at the end, and offered me. I was very excited and I’m extremely grateful.”
Reynolds visited Nebraska four times last fall for game day visits. He also took unofficial trips to Minnesota, Iowa State, and Kansas State. Reynolds also held offers from Kansas State, Northwestern and Air Force.
“One thing I like about coach Rhule and the whole coaching staff is that they preach that you get better at football by playing football,” Reynolds said. “Knowing that this program is all about development from the moment you get on campus is a great thing to consider when picking a school.”

Reynolds is one of just three Nebraska recruits with an offer from the Huskers. The others are tight end Isaac Jensen (Millard South) and defensive back Darion Jones (Omaha North).
He is the fourth known commitment for the Huskers in the 2026 class. Reynolds joins quarterback Dayton Raiola, wide receiver Dveyoun Bonwell-Witte, and cornerback CJ Bronaugh.
Reynolds completed his junior season with 91 total tackles, including 55 solo tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack. Additionally, he recorded eight passes defended and one forced fumble.
