Huskers claim 10 Big Ten volleyball postseason honors
Nebraska volleyball (30-0, 20-0) cleaned up in the Big Ten postseason awards. Seven Husker volleyball players and head coach Dani Busboom Kelly earned conference honors.
Busboom Kelly is the Big Ten Coach of the Year in her first season leading Nebraska. She led NU to a 30-0 regular season and the 2025 Big Ten championship. The Huskers are the first team since 2009 Penn State to go undefeated in a 20-game Big Ten regular season. Wisconsin went undefeated in a shortened 2020 season.
Busboom Kelly’s team led the conference in hitting percentage (.352) and opponent hitting percentage (.125). They have by far the biggest margin of hitting percentage in the country with a .227 clip. American (.161) and Pittsburgh (.143).
Nebraska’s head coach has one of the deepest rosters in college volleyball. She used every available piece to create a truly dominant regular-season campaign and to be named the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament.
Busboom Kelly encouraged her players to focus on hanging a national championship banner and not winning individual honors. Nebraska won seven individual awards, with more incoming anyway.
Junior Bergen Reilly is the Big Ten Setter of the Year for the third straight time and is the first Husker to win the Big Ten Player of the Year since Kelsey Robinson in 2013.
Reilly, middle blocker Andi Jackson, outside Harper Murray and middle Rebekah Allick are the All-Big Ten first team. Reilly, Jackson and Murray were unanimous first-team picks. Senior outside hitter Taylor Landfair and libero Laney Choboy are second-team honorees. Opposite Virginia Adriano is on the Big Ten All-Freshman team. Maisie Boesiger is Nebraska’s Sportsmanship team selection.
Penn State’s Gillian Grimes is the Big Ten Libero of the Year. She had 3.68 digs per set. Oregon’s Alanah Clemente is the Freshman of the Year. She has 3.97 kills, 1.23 digs and hit .265.
Reilly’s reign continues
Reilly is the best setter in the Big Ten and the country. She is the first setter to be named the Big Ten Setter of the Year for three straight seasons. In 2023, she was the first freshman to earn the honor and the first Husker since Kelly Hunter in 2017. Reilly also won her third All-Big Ten First Team award. She is now Nebraska’s first Big Ten Player of the Year since Kelsey Robinson in 2013.
Several great players were considered for the Big Ten Player of the Year honor, including Reilly, Wisconsin’s Mimi Colyer and Penn State’s Kennedy Martin. But Jackson made it undeniable down the stretch.
The 6-foot-0 junior averages 10.31 assists, 2.73 digs and 0.65 blocks per set. She has led Nebraska to a national-leading .352 hitting percentage. Reilly runs an extremely balanced offense with six Huskers averaging over 2.0 kills per set. The Huskers could break the program single-season record for hitting percentage, which is .331 (1986).
Reilly is a two-time AVCA Second Team All-American pick (2023, 2024). She should be a first-team pick in 2025. The junior is a semifinalist for the AVCA Player of the Year honor. The AVCA is also naming a Setter of the Year, which Reilly should be in line to win.
Husker middles earn First Team All-Big Ten honors
Nebraska’s middles are arguably the most dominant duo in the country. The Big Ten honors reflect that.
Jackson’s junior season has been absolutely remarkable. The 6-foot-3 middle blocker broke the Big Ten single-season hitting percentage record with a .559 clip over 20 matches. She picked up her second first-team All-Big Ten pick.
Nebraska’s middle leads the country with a .471 hitting percentage. She averages 2.75 kills and 1.13 blocks per set. Jackson served consistently for the first time in 2025, posting 16 aces and counting. Jackson is looking at being a back-to-back AVCA First Team All-American. She is also a semifinalist for the AVCA Player of the Year honor.

After being named an All-Big Ten second-team member twice, Allick finally won a first-team honor. She made a massive jump offensively as a senior. She was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week twice in 2025.
The 6-foot-4 middle averaged a career-high 2.5 kills per set during the 2025 regular season. She is hitting a career-high .431 as well. Her hitting percentage is third in the Big Ten and 11th nationally. The Lincoln, Neb. native recorded a career-high 13 kills and a career-high .750 hitting percentage during the regular season. Allick adds a team-high 1.33 blocks per set.
Murray is a three-time All-Big Ten first-team pick
Somehow, Murray keeps getting better and better. Her consistency in attacking, passing, blocking and serving all season long was massive to Nebraska volleyball’s success. The three-time All-Big Ten First Team honoree put together her best season yet.
Murray averaged a career-high 3.5 kills and a .304 hitting percentage during the 2025 regular season. She added 2.2 digs, 0.3 aces and a career-high .60 blocks per set. The junior has been one of the best passing outside hitters in the country since becoming a Husker.
The 6-foot-2 outside hitter was a 2023 AVCA All-American Third Team and a 2024 All-American Second Team pick. She is deserving of a first-team selection. Nebraska could and should have at least three First Team All-Americans in 2025. She joins Reilly and Jackson on the AVCA Player of the Year semifinalist list.
Landfair, Adriano critical pieces on the pin, Choboy’s first Big Ten honor
Nebraska volleyball has struggled to have three consistent and efficient pin hitters over the last few seasons. Murray, Landfair and Adriano are a dominant trio on the outside.
Landfair looked like herself in 2025 after struggling occasionally last season. In her sixth and final season, Landfair is hitting an astounding career-high .320. She is averaging 2.06 kills per set. The former Minnesota Gopher has 43 blocks and 0.53 blocks per set this season.
Adriano was a wonderful addition to this loaded Husker team. In her freshman season, she averaged 2.2 kills and .62 blocks per set. The 21-year-old freshman is hitting .287 in her first college volleyball season in the United States. After hitting .216 in the non-conference, she posted a .318 clip in the Big Ten.
Landfair and Adriano’s fast and smart attacks on their respective pins and strong block have made this offense basically impossible to slow down.
Choboy earned her first All-Big Ten honor with a second-team selection. The co-libero had 2.74 digs and 0.94 assists per set. The junior helped Nebraska to a national-leading .125 opponent hitting percentage. She has had 15 double-digit dig matches.
