The Huskers continue their strong push into Florida, led by assistant coaches Phil Simpson and Addison Williams. Simpson was the former head coach of Homestead High School in Miami, while Williams has a strong recruiting history in Florida from his time at both Auburn and the University of Central Florida (UCF). Meanwhile, at Florida State, the Noles have former Matt Rhule assistants Evan Cooper, Tony White, and Terrance Knighton on their defensive staff.
Schools can host recruits until this Sunday—the dead period then lasts from June 23 until September.
