Huskers set to host Fan Day and Big Red Preview on Aug. 2

Nebraska will host an open practice sponsored by 1890 on Aug. 2 at 6:30 p.m. following Fan Day.

Nebraska fans will get their first look at the 2025 Huskers on Saturday, Aug. 2, with two public events at Memorial Stadium.

The afternoon kicks off with the annual Nebraska Football Fan Day from 4:30 to 6 p.m. inside the Hawks Championship Center. Fans can meet the team, get autographs, and interact with the players. The event is free and open to the public.

Then, at 6:30 p.m., the Big Red Preview — an open practice presented by 1890 — takes place inside Memorial Stadium. It will mark the sixth practice of fall camp and the first in full pads. It will also be fans’ first chance to see the newly installed playing surface.

Tickets for the Big Red Preview go on sale Wednesday, July 16 at 10 a.m. on Huskers.com. All seats are general admission:

  • $30 – West Club
  • $20 – Adults
  • $10 – Youth (high school and under)
    A $1 fee per ticket will be added.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. ahead of the practice.

Details on parking, logistics, and how kids can sign up for Coach Matt Rhule’s autograph line at Fan Day will be announced closer to the event.
