Mills, a standout wide receiver from Homestead (Fla.), took his official visit to Nebraska for the annual spring game in April. Mills also visited Nebraska for the Colorado game in September. He visited the same weekends as linebacker Dawson Merritt who recently flipped on his commitment to Nebraska from Alabama.
Additionally, Mills has stated he is friends with several current Nebraska Cornhuskers including freshman starting quarterback Dylan Raiola and freshman starting wide receiver Jacory Barney. Nebraska sent multiple coaches to Florida during their final bye week to recruit Mills.

Mills joins wide receivers Isaiah Mozee, Jackson Carpenter, and Jeremiah Jones in the 2025 recruiting class for Nebraska. Tanner Terch is classified as a wide receiver by On3, but the Huskers have seen Terch fitting in the secondary since he committed.
Nebraska has been on the positive side of flips in the 2025 class adding Mozee, Juju Marks, Merritt, and now Mills from previous commitments to the Huskers. Mills’ commitment brings the commitment total in the 2025 class to 20 for Nebraska.
