Nebraska Volleyball announces 2024 Spring Match information

Nebraska Volleyball announced on Thursday that their 2024 Spring Match will be against Denver at Kearney (Neb.) High School on May 4. The match begins at 2:00 p.m. CT and doors open at 12:30 p.m.
The Huskers spring match will be televised on Nebraska Public Media and streamed on B1G+ for the third straight year. The match will also be on the Huskers Radio Network.
The Denver Pioneers finished the 2023 season 14-12 and 12-4 in the Summit League. They fell to Omaha 3-2 in the Summit League Tournament Championship semifinals.

Tickets for the spring match go on sale on Tuesday, April 2 at 10:00 a.m. at the Buffalo Country Fairgrounds in Kearney. Fans must purchase tickets in person and in cash. There is a limit of four tickets per person. General admission tickets are $12 and courtside tickets are $32.
The Huskers played its annual spring match across the state of Nebraska. The 2023 match was played in Central City and the year before that was in Grand Island. NU swept Wichita State in the 2023 spring match in front of 2,096 fans at the Bison Activity Dome.

Nebraska Head Coach John Cook and his team value bringing their volleyball to places around the state. North Platte, Scottsbluff, Grand Island, Norfolk, Wayne, Ogallala, Kearney and McCook have hosted spring matches since 2007.
This wonât be the Huskersâ first time in Kearney. They helped the Bearcats celebrate their new gym in 2016 by playing Colorado State there on April 22, 2017. Over 2,000 fans watched Nebraska sweep CSU.
The spring match will provide the first glimpse of the 2024 Huskers. Since claiming the 2023 National Runnerup, four players left the program. They added two freshmen (OH Skyler Pierce and L Olivia Mauch) and two transfers (San Diego MB Layla Blackwell and Minnesota OH Taylor Landfair).
