Nebraska volleyball’s present is brighter than the sun, but so is its future. Husker head coach Dani Busboom Kelly signed three elite Class of 2026 players on National Signing Day.

The Huskers inked outside/opposite hitter Jayden Robinson, outside Gabby DiVita and middle blocker Keoni Williams. The trio ranks in the top 20 by PrepVolleyball.com. All three athletes committed to Nebraska when John Cook was the head coach and stuck with the Huskers when Busboom Kelly took over.

As of now, Nebraska will have 16 players on its 2026 roster.

Jayden Robinson, 6-foot-3 OH/OPP

The first to officially become a Husker on Wednesday was Robinson. The 6-foot-3 athlete played outside, opposite and setter during her four seasons at Ridge Point High School in Missouri City, Texas.

“Jayden is a very physical pin player,” Busboom Kelly said. “She has experience playing on the left pin in club and high school, and she’s played opposite for Team USA. Jayden is a physical attacker and blocker and can hit out of the back row as well. We’re excited to see how her all-around game translates to the college level. She’s one of the big-time athletes in this class and comes from a very athletic family. Jayden has really developed her skill set and we are thrilled to have her.”

Robinson is extremely versatile. She can play on their pin and is passionate about blocking, making her a great opposite hitter. She played on the left pin during her freshman and senior seasons. Robinson was an opposite as a sophomore and junior. But she was also a setter as a junior because her team needed one.

As a senior, she averaged 5.0 kills per set and hit .381 from the left pin. The No. 10 Class of 2026 player averaged 2.9 digs, 0.6 blocks and 0.5 aces per set. As a junior on the right pin, the Houston Skyline club player averaged an impressive 1.1 blocks per set.

Robinson was an outside hitter for the U19 team competing in the 2025 Women’s U21 World Championship. She was an opposite for the USA U19 Girls’ team in the 2024 NORCECA Continental Championship, helping the USA win gold. Current Nebraska middle Manaia Ogbechie was the MVP of the U19 NORCECA Continental Championship.

Gabby DiVita, 6-foot-1 OH

DiVita is the No. 19 overall 2026 player by PrepDig and the No. 20 prospect by PrepVolleyball.

“Gabby is a really high-level six-rotation player,” Busboom Kelly said. “She has a great arm and volleyball IQ, and her serve receive and back-row play have always been a strength of her game. Gabby comes from the same club as Harper Murray and Campbell Flynn (Legacy), so we’ve developed a pretty good relationship with them. Gabby is a coach’s kid and has always wanted to be a Husker, and we are fortunate to have her join our program.”

She carried a heavy load for Grosse Pointe South High School in Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich. The No. 19 class of 2026 player averaged 5.7 kills per set and 3.7 digs per set in her final season with the Blue Devils.

She posted 1,811 career kills and hit .406 over her career. DiVita averaged 0.6 aces per set during her career with 200 aces. She had a career-high 38 blocks in her final season.

The 6-foot-1 outside hitter plays club for Legacy. Current Husker outside Harper Murray and setter Campbell Flynn both played for Legacy, which has produced many successful volleyball athletes. Legacy 15-1, featuring DiVita and Flynn, won the 2022 AAU Girls’ Junior National Championship.

Keoni Williams, 6-foot-4 MB

Nebraska’s middle blocker commit for the class of 2026 is Williams, a 6-foot-4 middle from Fort Worth, Texas. She is the No. 8 prospect by PrepDig and the No. 10 player, according to PrepVolleyball. The future Nebraska middle plays club for Dallas Skyline.

“Keoni is an extremely athletic middle blocker,” Busboom Kelly said. “She moves very well laterally across the net, which is important for a middle. We’re impressed with her physicality, and her attacking arm has really developed. Keoni has played for some very good club teams in the Dallas area, and she was able to go to the World Championships this past summer. She’s one of the top middles in this class, and we’re happy she chose to be a Husker.”

Williams spent four seasons with Eagle Mountain High School. She made a huge jump offensively from her junior to senior seasons. Williams hit .376 in 2024 and .553 in 2025. She averages a team-high 3.5 kills per set as a senior.

The 6-foot-4 middle is a great blocker. She recorded 606 career blocks and averaged 1.3 blocks per set over her high school career. Eagle Mountain plays Spring Hill in the Texas 4A state championship semifinals on Nov. 15.

Williams competed in the 2025 FIVB Women’s U21 World Championship with the USA U19 Girls Team and Robinson.
