#notcommitted: Top recruits are flocking to Ole Miss football. Literally, this weekend.
In this edition of #notcommitted, Zach Berry and Ben Garrett of the Ole Miss Spirit/On3 deep-dive into the star-studded visitor list for Rebel football’s Saturday showdown with Vanderbilt.
JUCO wide receiver Deion Smith, formerly of LSU, is expected, as is Ole Miss commitment Kamarion Franklin, the five-star 2024 prospect and No. 1 high-school recruit in Mississippi.
Oh, and the Rebels are fighting Alabama for a trio of top targets: Nebraska de-commitment Kewan Lacy, four-star tight-end Caleb Odom and Rebel commit William Echoles. Vanderbilt, should Odom, currently committed to the Tide, show up, would be an unofficial. He’s supposed to be in for Texas A&M, too.
Echoles was recently bumped to a four-star by On3 and offered by Alabama.
The push to the first of two National Signing Days for college football has arrived. Let’s get after it.
