Ole Miss cornerbacks coach Sam Carter and defensive staffer Aashon Larkins extended an offer to Trinity Episcopal School (Va.) cornerback Cameren Fleming on Monday.

The 6-foot-1, 185 pound prospect from Richmond, Va., also holds notable offers from North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Minnesota, Indiana, Boston College and Liberty. He is also receiving interest from Penn State, Michigan and Arkansas.

Fleming is currently unranked by On3. He’s taken unofficial visits to Penn State (two), Virginia Tech, Minnesota, North Carolina and Michigan.

The VISAA All-Metro and All-State selection made 50 tackles on defense, defended 12 passes, five tackles for loss, four interceptions and three forced fumbles. On offense, he had 500+ yards and six touchdowns.

Despite not submitting an offer yet, Penn State is in the lead in his On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) at 31.8%. North Carolina is in second at 15.3%, Virginia Tech is in third at 13.1% and Minnesota is in fourth at 10.9%.

RPM was released to the public in December 2021. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Fleming has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.6k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date; it rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
