On3 has updated its recruiting ranking for the 2024 class following the first month of the high school football season. The latest edition of On3’s 2024 rankings features 19 five-star players, up from 15 in the previous update in April. Of those 19 prospects, 17 are already committed to college programs. There are also several four-star recruits in the rankings, including three who are committed to the Ole Miss Rebels and head coach Lane Kiffin.

Bay Springs (Miss.) defensive lineman Kamron Beavers, Lake Cormorant (Miss.) defensive lineman Kamarion Franklin and Hillcrest (Ala.) safety Travaris Banks are the three highest-ranked commits for the Rebels.

Fellow four-star prospect Trever Jackson is just outside the On300 rankings, listed as a 90 grade and the 20th-ranked quarterback in the 2024 class.

Kamarion Franklin, the No. 1 recruit in Mississippi, puts on an Ole Miss hat as he announces his commitment to Ole Miss football while wearing a shirt that says “‘Sip Made Kam Stayed” with the Ole Miss logo at Lake Cormorant High School in Lake Cormorant, Miss, on Saturday, August 19, 2023.

Ole Miss’ 2024 class is currently ranked 21st in On3’s Team Football Recruiting Rankings.

Kiffin’s group has a blue chip rating of 36 percent and 50 percent of the commits are from the Sip. Two are nationally-ranked, four-star junior college prospects in Raymond Collins and Cedrick Beavers. And the average NIL value for Rebel commits is currently at $41K.

St. Martin (Miss.) wide receiver Noreel White and Pascagoula (Miss.) defensive lineman Jeffery Rush are the other prep four-star prospects. Three-stars Anthony Robinson, Cameron Clark, John Wayne Oliver and Rahji Dennis are all ranked at an 87 grade or better.

But the balance of this class is something unheard of in Kiffin’s tenure at Ole Miss. The three highest-rated prospects, per On3, are all on defensive players.
