Ole Miss lands 17 players on the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000
The 2023 college football season is still 46 days away from starting for Ole Miss but postseason lists and honors are already trickling out this week.
While head coaches and players are in Nashville making the rounds at Southeastern Conference Media Days discussing the upcoming season the East-West Shrine 1000 was released on Monday.
A list of 1,000 draft-eligible players for the 2024 NFL Draft were spotlighted by the annual all-star game that takes place at the Dallas Cowboys practice facility in Frisco, Texas in February. Players will be coached by NFL coaches, in an NFL facility, and will have access to NFL-level resources, facilities, player-friendly schedules, and opportunities.
Dozens of Division I teams had players make the list and Ole Miss was no exception, landing 17 players on the list.
Of those 17 players it is a good mix of returning players and fresh faces to the Ole Miss program via the portal. The list shows how deep those outside of the Rebels program view the football roster put together in Oxford.
