In this edition of the Ole Miss Morning-After Show, Ben Garrett (OMSpirit.com) and former Rebel Bradley Sowell break down No. 13 Ole Miss’ 35-3 win over ULM on Saturday, including Brad’s Helmet Stickers for the game’s top performers and postgame sound from fourth-year Rebel head coach Lane Kiffin.

The Rebels finished the regular season a perfect 7-0 at home for just the second time in program history.

“Glad our guys finished the season undefeated at home,” Kiffin said. “Really neat. A lot of special moments throughout the year here. Glad that we finished off with a win. Obviously, not pleased with the first half offensively. Very surprised that we came out like that. We played flat and got penalties. Had a drop for the touchdown.

“I’m pleased they responded in the third quarter to kind of pull away in the game.”

No. 13 Ole Miss improved to 9-2 (5-2 SEC) on the season.

The Rebels next travel to in-state rival Mississippi State for the annual Egg Bowl Thanksgiving night.

“(It’s a) short week,” Kiffin said. “Have to go to work today after this. Need to work to get this trophy back. We screwed it up last year, so now we have a short week to get ready for that.

“We came out of this pretty healthy today, which was a big goal.”

Quarterback Jaxson Dart was 24 for 31 for 310 yards and three touchdowns. He eclipsed the 3,000-yard mark in total offense.

Kiffin announced this week Dart was returning for his senior Ole Miss season. Dart said after ULM no decision has been made.

“To be honest I haven’t really decided yet,” Dart said. His six 300-yard career passing games are seventh all-time at Ole Miss. He’s one touchdown from tying all-time great Matt Corral.

“(Kiffin) kind of just said that to put positive vibes out there. I’m still going to go through this year. I haven’t really focused on making that decision as of right now. Got a lot of football left to play, and once everything’s over, I’ll make that decision.”

Ole Miss defensively held its opponent without a touchdown for the first time since Georgia Tech last season. The Rebels limited ULM to 66 passing yards. This is the first season Ole Miss has held two opponents to under 100 yards passing in a single season.
