Monday afternoon Summer Creek (Texas) offensive tackle Kelvin Banks decommitted from Oregon as well. Banks was the top-ranked recruit in the 2022 class for the Ducks.
In recent weeks Banks had taken visits to Texas and Texas A&M. Despite the trips he remained committed to Oregon. That is until Mario Cristobal left for Miami.
The Ducks are now down to 16 verbal commits in the 2022 class with many in wait-and-see mode at the next hire.
