Oregon Football Targets Set July Announcements

The Oregon Ducks sit at 10 verbal commitments headed into an interesting July stretch. And perhaps none bigger than an upcoming decision in less than 24 hours.

Five-Star quarterback Dante Moore is on the clock and will make his decision Friday morning during the 9 AM (PST) airing of Sports Center.

Oregon has already scored two commitments in the month of July. First it was EDGE Teitum Tuioti on July 2 followed by cornerback Caleb Presley on July 5.

Here is a list of the ‘current’ scheduled commitments on key Oregon targets. Keep in mind, there will likely be a few more that end up committing between now and August.

QB – Dante Moore: July 9 – 9 AM (PST)

Current On3 RPM: Oregon 71.9%

I’m pretty sure everyone has this one marked on their calendars already. But in case you don’t, here is a final reminder.

I’ve had my pick locked on to Oregon for a couple of weeks and have not remotely wavered. I see no reason to start now in this final 24 hour window.

EDGE – Jayden Wayne: July 9 – 9 AM (PST)

Airing on CBS Sports HQ

Current On3 RPM: Miami 79.6%

I know this one hurts Duck fans a little. Not only a solid 4-Star EDGE talent, but also out of Washington and lastly seemingly favoring Miami. The triple-whammy.

Wayne will enroll at IMG Academy in Florida for his senior season. It will very hard for Oregon to sway him from 3,000 miles away. Unless he gets home sick.

OL – Micah Banuelos: July 15 – TBD

Current On3 RPM: Oregon 41.6%

He hasn’t set a time and it sounds like he’ll be at his local church so I assume he’ll be streaming it on social media. This one is seemingly between Oregon and USC with Texas A&M also in the mix. Once again the hometown Huskies will be left with no kibble.

OL – Miles McVay: Aug 11 – TBD

Current On3 RPM: Alabama 27.6%

It’s not a July commitment but it’s set nonetheless. This one is for ‘momma’ as it is his mother’s birthday.

Oregon is in the mix here along with Alabama, Texas and Michigan State among others. This one will be pretty tight so keep tabs on the coming weeks to see if Oregon is a serious threat.
