The University of Oregon has self-reported five secondary violations to the NCAA.

James Crepea of the Oregonian reported the findings after a public records request.

Here are the violations from Crepea’s report.

Football had two program-wide violations; one for “game simulation” photographs being permitted during recruiting visits and another for a “tryout team addition” practicing while being enrolled less than full-time.

The third violation, committed by the former coaching staff, was for sending recruiting graphics to the coaches of recruits.

Women’s basketball coach Kelly Graves had an in-home visit during the last dead of a recruiting dead period.

The last violation was in an unspecified sport for a player competing “while technically ineligible due to erroneous amateurism certification.”

It does not appear any punishment has been given in this matter at this time. Typically for lower level violations like this the punishments are minimal. It can be restricted access with a specific recruit for a period, probation for a short period or loss of visits.

It’s worth noting the football violations did not take place under the current coaching staff at Oregon.
