The Penn State Nittany Lions recruiting efforts kicked back into high gear this week with the start of spring football. The team has already hosted a top quarterback prospect, and will host numerous top 100 players over the next several days. The week started out strong, with four-star quarterback Malik Washington visiting the program on Tuesday. Washington is one of the top quarterback prospects Penn State is courting this cycle so getting him on campus early is a win. Fitz and Snyder update fans on the competition for Penn State’s open quarterback spot between Washington and borderline five-star passer Matt Zollers. Snyder explains how the timeline for the two quarterbacks ultimately affect the decision if there is one for Penn State.
The tight end board is an equally promising section of Penn State’s recruiting efforts in 2023.
