Penn State finds itself in the mix with more than 40 prospects who made April’s updated On300 for the Class of 2023.

Included in that list is three players who have already committed to the Nittany Lions. Offensive lineman Jven Williams, from Wyomissing, Pa., remains the top-ranked recruit in the class at No. 11 overall nationally. His ranking stayed the same following the previous update. Williams is also the No. 1 ranked interior offensive lineman.

The same is true for Penn State’s other elite offensive line commit, Virginia native Alex Birchmeier. His ranking didn’t change in this most recent update either, holding firm at No. 33 overall. However, that, combined with updated rankings across the industry, have now promoted Birchmeier to a five-star prospect in the On3 Consensus rankings. Birchmeier is ranked No. 25 nationally.

Penn State’s third commit in the class is tight end Andrew Rappleyea. Previously committed to Michigan, the New York native switched his commitment to the Nittany Lions earlier this month. He’s ranked No. 165 in the updated On300, which is up two spots from his previous ranking.
