Penn State football is hard at work on the Class of 2024. An emerging figure in its efforts to build another top class is four-star wide receiver, Keylen Adams. Adams hails from Green Run high school in Virginia, which is in the Tidewater region of the state. Additionally, he’s a top-200 player according to all four recruiting services. Get to know Adams better in today’s Penn State prospect spotlight.

T-Frank and Fitz start by discussing the recent news of Adams releasing his top four schools heading into the spring recruiting season. Next, Fitz discusses the most interesting thread of those four schools. Then, he and T-Frank break down what they like about Adams’ highlight tape.

How important is Keylen Adams to Penn State’s 2024 recruiting efforts?

Adams’ home state also takes center stage in the recruiting cycle with new receivers coach Marques Hagans in the picture. Hagans has deep ties to the area, further increasing the speculation that Adams is a top target for the program. T-Frank and Fitz discuss this before switching to discuss the 2024 receiver big board.

Because Hagans is so new at Penn State, much is still unknown about the big board at wideout. Fitz informs the audience about how that process works and when fans should expect a clearer picture of the situation this year. Finally, T-Frank compares this cycle of receiver commits to last season.

The player spotlight is part of the full BWI Daily Edition Recruiting Show that airs each Monday at 7 pm. If you haven’t, check out the entire episode. This week T-Frank fills in for host Ryan Snyder.
