We start with recruiting.

Pickerington, Ohio Pickerington North Class of 2022 quarterback Landon O’Connell is set to be on campus this weekend. The 6-foot-4, 208-pound junior-to-be only has a Bowling Green offer currently. However, he’s been to Ohio State twice and will now see the Nittany Lions for a second time after previously visiting back in January.

In other news, On3 Consensus three-star receiver and Penn State signee Tyler Johnson is staying active before he arrives at Penn State.

The senior posted a video of a massive dunk on the hardwood recently. Johnson was recruited heavily by the Lions in part because of how athletic he is. On3 ranks him as a four-star in its own rankings.

“What really stood out was the type of people the staff really were from the time I got there Wednesday up until Sunday,” Johnson told BWI when he committed.

“I just felt a connection that felt like family and I think that’s important, especially with me being a little ways from home. I feel like if I ever needed something I could go to any one of the coaches.”
