Kickoff time, TV coverage revealed for SMU at Wake Forest

On Saturday, Oct. 25, SMU travels to Wake Forest for its final ACC contest of October. On Monday, the kickoff time and TV coverage was revealed. The Mustangs take on the Demon Deacons at 11 a.m. CT on The CW.
SMU is coming off a 34-10 win over Stanford at home while Wake Forest won at Oregon State, 39-14. Wake Forest has a bye this week.
The Mustangs are unbeaten against Wake Forest, per Winsipedia. SMU’s last win over Wake Forest came in 1975, a 14-7 win for SMU.
In his press conference after beating Stanford, SMU head coach Rhett Lashlee touted the program’s nation best 19-game conference winning streak and the 10th straight win in ACC play. This week, the Mustangs hope to continue that at Clemson.

“Today we just won our 19th straight (conference) regular season game, and that’s 10 straight to start ACC play. Like, it’s just kind of hard to believe. We started in this league last year and we’ve won our first ten games in the league,” Lashlee said Saturday. “So proud of our staff, our administration, everybody associated with our school, our fan base, and most importantly, the players last year and this year. We don’t have time to sit around and dwell on it, but I hope our fan base and everybody who loves SMU will think about that for a minute.
“I’m sure that’s never been done before. Like there’s no way a team’s ever entered a conference and won their first 10 games in the regular season. It’s just kind of hard to believe. It doesn’t mean we’ve gotten anywhere near where we wanna go, but I think it shows that we belong here. We belong at this level.”
