SMU takes the lead!
09/20/2025 01:49:50 PMThe Mustangs quickly march down the field to take its first lead of the game. Kevin Jennings finds Jordan Hudson, the former TCU Horned Frog, over the middle for the 34-yard touchdown pass. SMU leads 24-21 with 10:30 remaining.

09/20/2025 01:32:38 PMSMU and TCU traded touchdowns in the third quarter to keep the Horned Frog lead at four. TCU missed a 48-yard field goal towards the end of the third quarter. The home team has the ball deep in its own half to start the fourth quarter.
SMU continues to fight back
09/20/2025 01:14:04 PMKevin Jennings fired one into a tight window and found Yamir Knight over the middle for a huge touchdown. SMU still trails TCU, 21-17 with 5:54 left in the third quarter. Mustangs continue to fight and the defense will now be called upon to come up with a stop.

09/20/2025 01:02:59 PMJust moments after SMU QB Kevin Jennings hobbled off the field, TCU put together a big touchdown drive to go up 21-10. Hoover found Manjack in the flats, who fought his way into the end zone for the score. SMU with a big offensive drive ahead with its starting QB not at 100%. 10:50 remaining in the third quarter.

09/20/2025 12:27:36 PMThe Mustangs started off slow, going behind 14-3 early in the first half, but have battled back to be within four points at the half. SMU has already racked up seven penalties for 70 yards. The penalties must get cleaned up in the second half. TCU leads 14-10 and will receive the kickoff to start the second half.
SMU battles back with a score
09/20/2025 12:04:02 PMThe Mustangs completed a 12-play 75-yard drive that shaved 6:59 off the clock. The drive finished with an incredible play from Kevin Jennings who ran all over the field to find Matthew Hibner in the front of the end zone. Mustangs trail 14-10 with 7:21 left in the first half.

09/20/2025 11:48:04 AMThe Horned Frogs continue to live freely on offense and are reaping the benefits. On 3rd and six, Josh Hoover found Jeremy Payne out of the backfield for a walk-in touchdown. TCU leads SMU 14-3 with 14:20 in the second quarter.

09/20/2025 11:41:24 AMTCU has looked like the stronger team to this point. The defense has come up with enough plays to make stops and the offense seems to have no problem driving on the SMU defense. The Horned Frogs will have a 1st and 10 at the SMU 15-yard line to start the second quarter.
Sam Keltner knocks one through for SMU
09/20/2025 11:30:38 AMThe Mustangs put together a nice drive that got cut short in the red zone. SMU settled for a 28-yard field goal, which Same Keltner nailed. SMU trails TCU 7-3 with 3:32 left in the first quarter. The SMU drive went 68 yards on 12 plays and took 5:18 off the clock.
TCU starts off hot
09/20/2025 11:12:38 AMFollowing the Horned Frog defense forcing a three-and-out, the TCU offense quickly moved into SMU territory. TCU converted on a fourth and five to keep its driving going which resulted in a 27-yard receiving touchdown for Eric McAlister. TCU leads SMU 7-0 with 8:56 remaining in the first quarter.
