Come behind the scenes at the 2022 Birdies with Beamer golf outing with Kendall Smith, Wes Mitchell, and the Gamecock Central crew!
On Thursday, Shane Beamer held his second annual Birdies with Beamer golf outing at Cobblestone Golf Park in Blythewood, South Carolina.
The tournament, which consisted of a best-shot style of play, featured guests including Lamont Paris, Connor Shaw, and Patrick DiMarco.
Gamecock Football coaches including Clayton White, Marcus Satterfield, Justin Stepp, and Jody Wright also participated in the outing.
Sterling Sharpe, Harold Green, Paul Muthig, and Darrin Hicks won the contest, scoring a 50. In second place with a score of 54 were Brady Gregor, Bill McDonald, Marci Saltzman, and Tim Flanagan.
Senior analyst Freddie Kitchens won both the long drive contest on the Black course and the putting contest.
Following the tournament, Shane Beamer spoke with the media in a press conference ahead of a massive recruiting weekend for the Gamecocks. Beamer provided updates on the team as preseason camp approaches, and the season opener is nearly a month away.
