No. 21 Tennessee’s 14-game winning streak at Neyland Stadium ended and top-ranked and two-time defending national champion Georgia’s 28-game win streak stayed alive after the Bulldogs came to Knoxville and won 38-10 on Saturday.

Here’s how it happened, as it happened:

First Quarter

Tennessee 7, Georgia 0 (14:49, 1Q): Touchdown on play No. 1. Jaylen Wright went 75 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the game, running over the right side of the line of scrimmage. The play nearly matched the 83 yards rushing the Vols had last week at Missouri.

Tennessee 7, Georgia 3 (10:01, 1Q): Georgia answered Tennessee’s first-play touchdown with an 11-play, 51-yard drive that ended with a 43-yard field goal from Peyton Woodring. The drive stalled when Carson Beck fumbled in the backfield, losing eight yards after falling on the ball.

Georgia 10, Tennessee 7 (3:17, 1Q): Georgia’s second drive ended in the end zone after wide receiver Dillon Bell threw an 18-yard touchdown to Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint on a trick play. Beck took the snap, pitched to Bell out of the backfield and Bell threw to a wide open Rosemy-Jacksaint who was all alone in the end zone. The drive went 65 yards on nine plays, taking 5:04 off the clock.

Second Quarter

Georgia 17, Tennessee 7 (8:04, 2Q): Bell accounted for his second touchdown of the first half when he caught a 9-yard pass from Beck to build Georgia’s lead to 10 and give the Bulldogs 17 unanswered points. The drive went 80 yards in nine plays and included another third-down conversion, with Georgia going 4-for-6 on third down over its first four drives.

Georgia 24, Tennessee 7 (1:31, 2Q): Brock Bowers caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Beck to give Georgia a touchdown on three straight drives. The drive went 81 yards over seven plays, giving Georgia three touchdowns, a field goal and a punt over its first five possessions of the game.

Georgia 24, Tennessee 10 (0:00, 2Q): Charles Campbell kicked a 37-yard field goal to end the first half, capping a nine-play, 56-yard scoring drive. Joe Milton completed a 21-yard pass to Chas Nimrod to set up the field goal.

Third Quarter

Georgia 31, Tennessee 10 (9:24, 3Q): Tennessee got a stop to start the second half, but the Vols couldn’t do anything with it after Milton missed an open Squirrel White on a deep ball. Georgia got the ball back and got back in the end zone. Beck threw an 8-yard touchdown to Rosemy-Jacksaint to build the lead to three touchdowns after a six-play, 70-yard drive. Beck with the pass went to 20-for-25 with 245 yards and three touchdowns, with Rosemy-Saintjack scoring twice on his six receptions covering 90 yards.

Georgia 38, Tennessee 10 (1:06, 3Q): Georgia’s fifth touchdown drive went 68 yards in 10 plays, with Kendall Milton running 15 yards for the score.
