Jaylen Wright

Jaylen Wright lost his senior season of high school football because of the COVID-19 outbreak, but he was one of North Carolina's top offensive players in 2019. He led Southern Durham High to a 10-2 record and the Big 8 3A conference championship after racking up 901 yards rushing and five touchdowns. He made nine appearances for Tennessee in 2021, finishing third among UT running backs with 409 yards and four scores. He broke out in 2022, as Wright finished as the team's leading rusher with 875 yards on 146 carries and 10 touchdowns. Wright entered the 2023 season as an All-SEC pick and topped the 100-yard mark six times in the Vols' first nine games. Wright models his game after former Vol great Alvin Kamara. His favorite musical artists are NBA YoungBoy and Lil Baby.
