2023 Wyoming Football Preview

Texas hosts the 2-0 Wyoming Cowboys in Austin on Saturday evening. Taking Wyoming lightly is not an option for Texas in the wake of the Bama win if the Horns want to establish and identity where they honor a standard of play. There's also a more practical consideration. Wyoming's 35-33 win over Texas Tech featured a rally from a 17-0 deficit. At minimum, there are some interesting unit level challenges that will serve as a useful diagnostic for the Horns. At maximum, Texas could sleep walk into allowing a football game to happen.
