The Longhorn offense dominated Sam Houston State's bad defense with 607 yards at 8.8 yards per play with Texas' first 9 possessions of the game ending in scores. Yes, Texas played their weakest opponent of the year and the most permissive defense they'll see, but the fact is that UTEP's defense wasn't exactly the '85 Bears (check that ULM-UTEP box score) and the Longhorns cleaned up some nonsense that plagued their effort from two Saturdays ago.
