A gentle reminder, for Texas it's recruiting tug-o-war season

Surely you've played tug-o-war, the all out struggle featuring grip, leverage, footing, resolve, and strength. You know how it goes whether you've won or lost. The stronger side pulls while the weaker side resists, either a lot, or a little. Sometimes the weaker side can even regather and get the rope moving back in their direction before the stronger side does the same. It can be a hard-fought incremental battle in which each aspect of the contest matters greatly, or a team can simply get whitewashed like the rope was held by the most extreme star-gazers. If you've never participated in a tug-o-war, just reference the exhausting incremental Bama loss versus the breezy whitewashing of Oklahoma last season. Recruiting is very similar to tug-o-war but since you mostly follow one school closely you're more familiar with its level of grip, leverage, resolve, and strength.
