In the rear view mirror: Texas vs Rice

When you barely have 20 passing attempts but still score 58 points you’re playing a truly poor opponent. That’s not to rain on parades or minimize the performance, it’s just a little perspective. However, even in an unbalanced fight you can still find things that will translate in more fair contests. I think we saw some things on the field, and more importantly on the headsets, that offer hope this team will improve throughout the schedule and more often than not play well. Let’s revisit my pre-game post from Saturday.
