Initial Thoughts and Notes On Texas at Mississippi State

Texas is on the road yet again this weekend and will need to dig deep to beat what will assuredly be a game Mississippi State squad. While it feels like Texas’ season is hanging by a thread, Jeff Lebby’s Bulldogs need a win every bit as badly as Texas. Sitting at 4-3, they’re riding a three-game losing streak, having lost to Tennessee at home in overtime, to A&M on the road, and then a heartbreaking loss by two points in Gainesville this past weekend.
