Resetting the Texas Longhorns defensive recruiting board

Steve Sarkisian and staff now have five commitments on the defensive side of the ball with a number of spots still to be filled. That number doesn't include On3 Industry Ranking 4-star Aeryn Hampton. Hampton could end up at wide receiver or safety for the Longhorns. Texas will sign up to five defensive linemen, three EDGE prospects and as many as five or six defensive backs in the 2024 cycle.
