<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We're seven games into the season and the Texas defense is regressing. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Major diagnostic warts, a failure to change out failing personnel, poor opponent scouting and in-game adjustments, unit incohesion and poor secondary play were revealed against Oklahoma and the Houston game showed all of the same issues and a few new ones. Given that the defense made no progress over the bye week, I'm not sure how the coaches spent their time, but everything they did failed. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
