Texas extends an offer to 2024 Tampa WR Bredell Richardson

The Texas Longhorns extended an offer today to 2024 Tampa (Fl.) Carrollwood Day wide receiver Bredell Richardson. While Richardson is unranked by the On3 consensus the 6-foot-1, 180-pounder has offers from Florida, Georgia, and Texas A&M among a dozen more.

Richardson recently talked with Joseph Hastings of Clemson SportsĀ about what he is hoping to get out of his recruitment.

ā€œI want to hit everywhere, almost every school thatā€™s offered me. I just want to get a chance to go out there because you really donā€™t know until you go out there,ā€ Richardson said.

After receiving his offer from the Longhorns the wideout from the Sunshine State tweeted out a video of Texas true freshman wide receiver Xavier Worthy scoring in the Red River Shootout during the 2021 season.

The Texas wide receiving recruiting pitch has benefited greatly from Worthyā€™s breakout true freshman season on the 40 acres where the Fresno native totaled 998 receiving yards on 63 receptions for 12 touchdowns.

Texas has one verbal commitment in the 2023 cycle in Arlington (Texas) Seguin four-star cornerbackĀ Jamel Johnson. Johnson is the No. 180 prospect in the country according to the On3 Consensus and has anĀ On3 NIL Valuation of $10,900. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athleteā€™s value at a certain moment in time.

At 6-foot-1, 180 pounds,Ā Bredell Richardson is unranked according to the On3 consensus a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
