Texas moves up to No. 24 in the On3 team recruiting rankings, and could move further up in July

Prior to the Wednesday night commitment of North Richland Hills (Texas) Richland offensive lineman and four-star prospect Daniel Cruz, the Texas Longhorns’ 2024 recruiting class was not even within the top 25 of On3’s Team Recruiting Rankings. Add Cruz, the third top-200 member of the class according to the On3 Industry Ranking, and the Horns now sit at No. 24.

Texas has something working to its advantage, as the Longhorns now have eight commits. The Longhorns’ score for their class is 88.422, just 0.105 behind the Rebels with a class with 16 members.
