Texas toughness, Purdue, and the road ahead

Early on against Virginia Tech when we were all having a good old game thread meltdown when Texas couldn't buy a basket, it occurred to me that Virginia Tech was a little soft. Texas was more physical, more tough-minded, had a better defensive game plan, and noticeably scrappier. If Texas could just ball and hit some shots, they were going to win the game. That's what happened.
