Okay, there were a couple of upsets. Washington lost to Wisconsin despite Wisconsin’s leading passer being the punter with 24 yards. Wisconsin had 8 first downs. Cal, led by true freshman Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, upset Louisville on the road. Those are two tough losses for head coaches whose names have been frequently mentioned in connection with upward mobility—or in Jeff Brohm’s case, likely a raise to stay home.
