Thursday: The benefits of new hires for the Longhorns

A lot of a discussion earlier in the week was directed toward the off-field analyst hire of Joey Thomas, a former Florida Atlantic receivers coach. Thomas is now a defensive analyst on the Texas staff. And he should pay dividends both on the field and in recruiting.
