As we've known since early September, Texas will need a lot of help in the transfer portal this next season. That's not the greatest news, but there are silver linings. As things currently sit, Texas shouldn't need to spend too much on the most valued positions. Money goes really fast when you need an edge or offensive tackle. Fans will disagree on Texas' needs to a degree—spending other people's money tends to remove perspective—but, generally speaking, the reality is Texas is set at most of the big-ticket positions.
