The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Hines is tabbed as the No. 268 overall player for the Class of 2025, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also ranked as the No. 36 wide receiver and No. 45 prospect in the state of Texas.
Hines burst onto the scene as a sophomore in 2022 with 783 yards and seven touchdowns on 47 receptions. In his junior season, Hines only played in seven games, but managed to reel in 28 receptions for 375 yards and four touchdowns.
Hines is an incredible athlete, reporting a 4.41 40-yard dash and a 10.7-second 100 meter dash.

On3 RPM on Hines
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Georgia has the early lead to land a commitment from Hines at 19.5%. Tennessee is a close second at 17.1%, while Coastal Carolina fits it in third at 14.6%.
RPM was released to the public in December 2021. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
