4-Star Texas WR Taz Williams Locks in May 17-19 USC Official Visit

Prior to the end of the 2022 season, 4-Star 2025 Red Oak (TX) wide receiver Taz Williams already had offers from Texas A&M, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Penn St., Ole Miss, Baylor, Arizona and SMU.
Since Nov. 7, 2022 when the Vols offered, Williams has earned scholarship offers from USC, TCU, Oregon, Nebraska, Cal, ASU, Western Kentucky, UNLV, Michigan, Pitt, Houston, Georgia, Miami, Auburn, LSU, West Virginia, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, South Florida, Purdue, Colorado, Kansas, Ohio St., Florida St., Texas, Utah, South Carolina, Florida, Grambling, San Diego St., Kansas St., Louisville, Stanford, Oregon St., Wisconsin, Tulsa, Indiana, UTEP, UTSA, Illinois, Arkansas and Alabama.
WeAreSC has seen and spoken to Williams on several occasions. His offer list speaks for itself, but he’s been exceptional each time we’ve seen him. We should add, he’s just as impressive off the field as on. A high character kid coaches covet at elite programs.
USC Official Visit?
Considering Williams had hoped for a USC offer for a while and he left campus last June without an offer, we asked if the USC offer may have come too late?

“No it’s not too late, but they got some catching up to do,” said Williams with a smile. “I may take an official visit to USC. Coach (Dennis) Simmons came to my school about a month ago and we have been building ever since. He actually offered in January, but we had some miscommunication.
“But I’ve also spoken with Coach (Lincoln) Riley the last two weeks and he said they really wanted me up there for an official visit. Reasons I get back for an official visit are Coach Riley’s offense, my relationship with Coach (Dennis) Simmons and I’ve only seen the campus when I was there for camp with 7on7. I didn’t get to see all that USC had to offer.
“My USC Official Visit is set for May 17-19.”
